Purpose: A multiple-entry type visa for persons aged 65 years and above who have retired abroad and now wishes to reside in Nigeria.

Eligibility: Foreign national retirees (65 years and above) who retired abroad.

Requirements:

• Letter of Retirement
• Proof of importation of funds (bank statement)
• Verifiable place of residence in Nigeria
• Valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity)
• Passport size photo
• Proof of retirement income (pension payments, where applicable)
• Evidence of Medical Insurance Certificate
• Security Clearance Certificate from country of residence

Steps to obtain

1. Obtain Documentation.
2. Apply online (embassy).
3. Submit visa requirements and pay visa fees.
4. Obtain Visa

• Validity: 90 days from issuance.
• Extendable: Not applicable.
• Stay duration: 2 years. Multiple entry (Residence permit)
• Restrictions: Not permitted for employment. Permitted to reside in Nigeria only.
• Family/Group Applications: Family/Dependants: Apply for N6A, N6B, N6C and N6D for spouse, minors, adult children, and aged parents respectively.
