Purpose: A type of visa granted to persons transiting through Nigeria to another destination for a period of 1-7 days.
Eligibility: Travellers who have onward ticket to the next destination where entry is guaranteed and wish to enter Nigeria before proceeding on the onward journey.

Requirements

• Valid Passport (not less than 6 months validity)
• Passport size photo.
• Onward ticket.
• Evidence of sufficient funds (30 days Bank Statement).
• Visa to final destination (where applicable) 
• Hotel Reservation or host address in Nigeria (if staying overnight).
• Minors below 18years (accompanied by an adult) to provide birth certificate and parental consent letter.

Steps to Obtain

1. Gather Documentation.
2. Confirm final destination entry requirements are met.
3. Apply online (e-Visa).
4. Upload visa requirements and pay visa fees.
5. Obtain Visa.

Validity:  1–7 days from issuance.
Extendable: No.
Stay duration:  Not exceeding 7days.
Restrictions: No employment. Strictly transiting only.
Family/Group Applications: Group applications for up to 10 persons.
