Medical Tourism Visa – F7C
Purpose: A Visa type granted to visit to Nigeria for the purpose of receiving medical care in Nigerian hospitals or clinics.
Eligibility: Persons in need of medical attention or Person(s) accompanying medical patient.
Requirements
- Valid Passport (not less than 6 months validity).
- Details of person (s) accompanying patient (Where applicable).
- Passport size photo.
- Evidence of return ticket.
- A referral Letter from an accredited hospital from the applicant’s place of residence.
- Evidence of Hotel Reservations or host address in Nigeria.
- Letter from Hospital or health care provider stating cost of treatment or care.
- Proof of adequate funds to cover the cost of treatment, as specified by the hospital or healthcare provider. A bank statement must be submitted showing a balance exceeding the treatment cost.
Steps to Obtain
- Obtain Referral and receiving hospital Confirmation documentation.
- Ensure the Nigerian medical facility provides official letter stating treatment details.
- Apply online (embassy).
- Upload visa requirements and pay visa fees.
- Obtain Visa.
Validity: 90 days from issuance.
Extendable: Yes (Where applicable).
Stay duration: Not exceeding 180 days Single entry.
Restrictions: No employment. Permitted for Medical treatment only.
Family/Group Applications: Group and family applications for up to 10 persons.
