Dependant (Under 18) of Permanent Resident Visa – N6B

Purpose: A visa type for dependant (under 18 years) of Permanent Resident Visa holders under the Investor, Highly Skilled, or Retirement categories who wish to reside in Nigeria.

Eligibility: Dependants who are under 18 of holders of N3A, N3B, N3C, N3D, N3E, N4A, N5A, or N5B visas.

Requirements:

  • Valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity)
  • Passport size photo
  • Evidence of Medical Insurance Certificate from Nigeria
  • Medical clearance certificate from country of residence
  • Security Clearance Certificate from country of residence (where applicable for minors, subject to local rules)
  • Birth Certificate
  • Parental/Legal Guardian’s Letter of consent (if accompanying a guardian)

Steps to obtain

  1. Gather Documentation.
  2. Apply online (embassy).
  3. Submit visa requirements and pay visa fees.
  4. Obtain Visa.
  • Validity: 90 days from issuance.
  • Extendable: Not applicable.
  • Stay duration: Multiple entry, Residence Permit. (Subject to the validity of the principal).
  • Restrictions: Not permitted for employment. To reside in Nigeria only.
  • Family/Group Applications: No.
