Dependant (Under 18) of Permanent Resident Visa – N6B
Purpose: A visa type for dependant (under 18 years) of Permanent Resident Visa holders under the Investor, Highly Skilled, or Retirement categories who wish to reside in Nigeria.
Eligibility: Dependants who are under 18 of holders of N3A, N3B, N3C, N3D, N3E, N4A, N5A, or N5B visas.
Requirements:
- Valid Passport (minimum 6 months validity)
- Passport size photo
- Evidence of Medical Insurance Certificate from Nigeria
- Medical clearance certificate from country of residence
- Security Clearance Certificate from country of residence (where applicable for minors, subject to local rules)
- Birth Certificate
- Parental/Legal Guardian’s Letter of consent (if accompanying a guardian)
Steps to obtain
- Gather Documentation.
- Apply online (embassy).
- Submit visa requirements and pay visa fees.
- Obtain Visa.
- Validity: 90 days from issuance.
- Extendable: Not applicable.
- Stay duration: Multiple entry, Residence Permit. (Subject to the validity of the principal).
- Restrictions: Not permitted for employment. To reside in Nigeria only.
