Temporary Work Permit (6 Months) – R11
Purpose: Allows experts invited by corporate bodies for the purpose of providing specialized skilled services.
Eligibility: Experts performing short-term projects (such as after-sale installations, Commissioning/Upgrading/Maintenance/Repairs of equipment and machinery, Training and capacity building for Nigerian staff, Audit of machinery/ Equipment and financial records etc.) after the approval of the Comptroller General of Immigration.
Requirements
- Visa Authority Letter from Immigration (pre-approval letter).
- Valid Passport (not less than 6 months validity).
- Return/Onward Ticket.
Steps to Obtain
- Host Company Seeks Approval
- Receive Pre-Approval from the Comptroller General of Immigration.
- Apply online (embassy)
- Submit Visa Application with visa requirements and pay visa fees.
- Obtain Visa.
Validity: 90 days from issuance.
Extendable: No.
Stay duration: Work permit 6 months multiple entry.
Restrictions: Only Specialized or project-based tasks.
Family/Group Applications: No.
