Nigeria Immigration Service Flags Off “Catch Them Young” Sensitization Programme

On 15th June 2026, the Nigeria Immigration Service flagged off the “Catch Them Young” Sensitization Programme as part of efforts to educate secondary and tertiary institution students across all Area Councils of the Federal Capital Territory on the dangers of visa fraud, irregular migration, and deceptive travel schemes.

The programme seeks to instill early awareness among young Nigerians on safe, orderly, and regular migration, while promoting responsible decision-making and an understanding of legitimate migration processes. Through interactive engagements and educational sessions, students are equipped with accurate information to help them identify fraudulent migration schemes and avoid practices that could expose them to exploitation.

Through this sensitization programme, the Nigeria Immigration Service continues to invest in the younger generation and strengthen public awareness on migration issues, while promoting safe, orderly, and regular migration practices across the country.
