NIS PARTNERS GERMAN FEDERAL POLICE, RECEIVES DONATION OF OPERATIONAL VEHICLES TO STRENGTHEN OPERATIONAL CAPACITY

The Nigeria Immigration Service received a donation of two operational vehicles from the German Federal Police, at the Headquarters in Abuja. Mr. Markus Sasse, First Secretary, Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany led a three member team for the handing-over ceremony, this gesture strengthens the ongoing partnership between the two institutions, enhancing the Service’s operational capabilities.

  1. The Comptroller-General of Immigration, KN Nandap, pcc, mmis, fsmn, represented by Deputy Comptroller-General, Human Resource Management Directorate, A Ayeni, expressed appreciation to the German Government for the donation. He stated that the operational vehicles will significantly enhance field mobility, improve response capabilities, and support the Service’s mandate of ensuring Border Security and effective Migration Management.

  2. The donation further reinforces the robust bilateral relations between Nigeria and Germany, highlighting the shared commitment of both countries to border security and improved migration governance.
