The Comptroller General of Immigration, KN Nandap, pcc, mmis, fsmn, ably represented by the Deputy Comptroller General, heading Migration Directorate, N. Odikpo, today flagged off the Service Nationwide sensitization campaign against the smuggling of migrants in Lagos, Nigeria.
The initiative, which seek to promote NIS mandate on safe, orderly, and regular migration, highlighted public awareness on the dangers of irregular migration.
Through strategic community engagements, stakeholder dialogues, and public enlightenment activities, the campaign emphasizes the importance of collective responsibility in combating smuggling of migrants and protecting vulnerable persons from exploitation.
This effort reflects the Nigeria Immigration Service’ commitment to strengthen Border Governance, enhance Migration Management, and foster community-driven approaches to National Security and human development
