The Comptroller General Nigeria Immigration Service, KN Nandap, pcc, mmis, fsmn received a delegation from the Border Community Development Agency (BCDA) led by The Executive Secretary, Dr. George-Kelly D. Alabo, dssrs, fniqs.

During the visit, the Executive Secretary expressed his agency’s commitment to supporting the NIS in its efforts to secure the Nation’s Borders. He highlighted the importance of community engagement and empowerment in preventing security threats and promoting peaceful coexistence.

The Comptroller General appreciated the agency’s collaboration with the NIS and assured that the Service would continue to work closely with them to achieve both agency’s shared goals. She emphasized the need for a multi-agency approach in addressing Border Security challenges and welcomed the opportunity to leverage the agency’s expertise and resources.

Nigeria Immigration Service holds valedictory session in honour of Assistant Comptroller General (ACG) AK Ademola (RTD)

The high-level dialogue on National Security was jointly convened by the House of Representatives Committee on Constitution Review and the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA). The event brought together top security chiefs, lawmakers, government agency heads, experts, civil society representatives, and community leaders to discuss legislative and policy reforms aimed at enhancing Nigeria’s National Security framework and promoting a safer Nigeria.
